Car enthusiasts and old tropes of clocks allow the same people to be dragged over and over again in this profession. But this is actually true, at the 82nd Goodwood Members’ competition earlier this year, it wasn’t so refreshing to see the great and good things in the world of automobiles, where true passion for motor racing was gathered at a historic circuit and pushed by the limits around the track. And thanks to the generous sponsorship of IWC events, there is plenty of watch delights you can find along the way.

This year, I was fortunate to have invited me to join this year’s bright British sunshine from the Schaffhausen brand. As many people may know, this is a big year for IWC and is motorsport. Not only will he continue his long-standing relationship with the Mercedes AMG F1 team, he is also a key player in the upcoming Brad Pitt movie F1. And we had some stars in the film in hand to add that star power to the rise in horsepower that was exhibiting.
Brad Pitt’s co-star Damson Idris portrayed Damson Idris, who portrayed Pitt’s teammate Joshua Pierce, and Kelly Condon, who became Pitt’s love interest as he strolls around the IWC paddock with a race car where Damson drives on screen and brings the film’s magic bits to the event. But it wasn’t just the movie stars on the day. There was a lot of race action on the track and there was a real car on display. There was something for everyone with E-Types, finely tuned modern racers in the 1950s. The majority of this event is that you can approach all the cars and personally stand up while walking through the paddock.
As you can see in the video above, this led us to talk to Bruno Senna, Elton Senna’s nephew and the car he won the Grand Prix for the first time.
For full insight into what it was like that day, head over to the video at the top of this article and see what I did and who I spoke to. There was a lot to see and I didn’t have much time to install it all. Increase the volume and enjoy listening to the roars of those lovely engines.
