time + tide
Don’t judge a book by its cover or a watch by its appearance. There’s a reason we use the phrase “in the metal” within the watch community. As great as a collection of watch photos, videos, reels, and reviews are, there’s nothing like actually holding a watch in your hands. We are often forced to judge watches from a distance, and as a result, our first impressions can be radically different from our final judgment in our hands. In Time+Tribe’s latest video below, Andrew, Marcus, and Zach each share their completely wrong clocks. At first I didn’t particularly like the watch, but later on when I held it “in the metal” I fell in love with it.
What watches can you raise your hand and hold back even if it’s completely wrong the first time? Let us know in the comments.
