Chronoswiss is by no means the biggest name in watchmaking, but Lucerne’s brand is always instantly recognised. For example, it has a reputation for using the biggest crown in your business. Jokes aside, Chronoswiss has used bold, brightly colored XL onion crowns, coin edge bezels and regulator style dials to highlight the brand in the watch world. Pulse One Sand has all the recognizable elements, but Chronoswiss reworked them and used them in the first watch with an all-new design with an integrated bracelet and case. Is this a future prevention design or is it a creation of a bandwagon jump?
So, what do you know? After writing an article entitled “Stop the release of sports watches with integrated bracelets,” I reviewed the Meistersinger Kaenos Open Date and loved the watch. Was this a roughly held strong opinions or a stunning, open-minded case? The Chronoswiss Pulse One Sand (Ref. CH-6823T-Brsi) is the next all-new watch with an integrated bracelet that I need to form my opinion. The Pulse 1 may be a completely new model, but everything about this watch is written as “Chronoswiss.” And that’s a good thing. Because it lies in the (overly) popular integrated case and bracelet style, but the watch’s identity and origin are clear.
Practice one sand with Frutitan Chronoswis Pulse
Of course, I am biased. I’ve been in love with Chronoswiss Timemaster CH 6233 Lu for over 20 years, so the brand has a special place in my heart. But you are more critical of what you love than what you make you indifferent. So I see one sand with love and scrutiny.
Compared to my Time Master, Pulse One Sand looks small and modernist. The Grade 5 titanium case is 41mm in diameter, 46.27mm in length, and 12.75mm in thickness. It is also water resistant to 100 meters. The size S is once again modern, as everything is cyclical in the world of watches, and the L is old fashioned, but Chronoswiss didn’t just create “small” watches. The matte media blasted case design shows signs of a critical design update, including flowing lines and delicately shaped crown protectors. Knurled Bezel exhibits a sophisticated finish, and is more geometric and angular than previous Chronoswiss models. Nevertheless, this design language remains true to Chronoswiss’ DNA. Mix updated shapes with distinctive/traditional onion crowns to create a harmonious clock.
One of the highlights of the watch is undoubtedly the integrated titanium bracelet. It doesn’t immediately make you think of famous works by major brands in this category. This deserves a compliment, just like the design and finish of this organic Chronoswiss-designed bracelet. Seamlessly integrates with the case to display matte and polished finishes. The vertical and horizontal lines of the bracelet give it a very dynamic look and provide excellent comfort for the wrist.
3D regulator
Two versions of the pulse are available – sand and blue. One Pulse that arrives at Fratello HQ has a sandblasted, natural brown regulator style main dial. The height of the flange and subdials has the same tone as the case. This combination of grey and sand brown is warm and stylish. Sometimes Chronoswiss gets overboard when using colours – remember the open gearless electric blue? Thankfully, the blue details on the grey and brown dial of one pulse are just right. Not too many, and they aren’t very bright. Blue CVD coated application time markers and hands are less likely to come across. Yes, that also applies to the big blue centre hand, which is bold and modern in shape.
The contrast between modern shapes and details and the retrograde seconds indicator is sublime. The delicate black lettering on the Sandy Tone main dial has a historic quality and does not collide with the avant-garde styling of the remaining watches. Instead, it adds traditional value and conveys the long history of regulator watches. The integration of the brand name and unique edition numbers of the subsecond register is a complimentary thing. It’s exquisite and clever.
Fast moving retrograde seconds
Retrograde seconds are a very energetic element of the 3D dial of a pulse. Every 30 seconds, the hand returns to zero. This will be handled by the 4Hz diameter C.6001, an automatic movement manufactured in-house, La Joux-Perret, with a 55-hour power reserve.

The move debuted in 2023, with ruthenium plating, tungsten rotors and coated degeneves radiating through a see-through caseback to finish.
Final Thoughts and Prices for Chronoswiss Pulse One Sand
You guessed it: I like Chronoswiss Pulse one sand. I appreciate the modern look and the combination looks organic so I can live with yet another watch with an integrated bracelet. In addition to that, the bracelet has a small, refined area between the brushed links that create movement and attract attention. They also tell you about the manufacturer’s attention to detail as well as the use of link screws instead of pins.
The Pulse One is fun to wear due to its medium case size, organic and supple bracelet, and, finally, the butterfly clasp that sinks under the link. This makes the bracelet thin and very nice to wear.
The Chronoswiss Pulse One Sand is a limited edition of 100 pieces, but we are sure Chronoswiss will release more variations or new watches in the brand’s latest style. What do you think about the price of 12,900 euros/chf 11,800? Before answering that, look again at the details of the case, its hidden clasp bracelet, and the angled rehabilitation of the hour and minute dial.
