Pietropira
This was a rather quiet week in terms of the number of watches launched in the market, but as important as it was quiet in terms of launch quality and importance. Tissot and Swatch both take us to the heart of the 1980s and 1990s, but the star for the past seven days must be Vacheron Constantin. To continue the 270th celebration, the Louvre was closed and presented an astronomical clock that was surprisingly complex (I highly recommend reading it here). Enjoy reading!
Tissot Rockwatch
Tissot makes 80’s rock watches a subtle difference, but maintains its original spirit. The 38mm case is exactly what you can guess about Jungfrau Mountain. This granite watch is a limited edition of 999 pieces and is available in a black leather strap with a pin buckle. Price: £995.

Swatch Neon
What screams the 90s more than a brightly colored sample? This neon collection update will bring us back in time. Six new watches have been unveiled, all of which share the same brave and colorful spirit that made the swatch wonderful. These are available in 42 or 34mm cases and only select times for complications on the chronograph or calendar. Price: Starting from 75 euros.

Vacheron Constantin pays homage to the quest for time
Vacheron Constantin celebrates its 270th anniversary with a proper celebration and unveils a monumental astronomical clock with time-reading automatons. Inspired by it, they also presented a white gold watch with double retrograde motion with an automata similar to the clock. The watch is a limited edition of 20 pieces, bringing together a brand new movement with exceptional craftsmanship. Price: on request. SARTORY BILLARD SB04 ‑ E Small Bang
We are used to seeing eye-catching imaginative dials from Saltry Billard, but their latest work, the 20-piece limited edition SB04-E small bang, shows off a technique rarely seen in watchmaking: Raden. This Japanese craft is the art of sliced mother-of-pearls into thin layers, cut by hand, and embedding them in a quiet lacquer, and the nature of the technique means that each execution is completely unique. The result is a 3D dial that resembles a multicolored supernova emitted from the central pinion. Price: 9,950 euros.

This 300-piece limited edition comes in three strap solutions: stainless steel, black perlon, or brown aracantara.

The brand’s sportiest watch, named after the address of a Paris workshop, is the first to come out of the brand’s newly opened manufacturer just outside of Paris. Trilobe’s signature digital display remains, with both blue and grey dial variants available.
