This week, Patek Philippe caused quite a stir in the watch industry. By now, we hope you have an idea of what the new collection is all about, but if not, read below to review the key aspects. For some strange reason, the past 7 days have been extremely busy with new releases, and even though there are more releases than usual, I had to omit a few watches… Important I just hope I haven’t left anything out. Patek Philippe Cubitus
Patek’s first new watch collection in 25 years, the Cubitus collection, has been officially released, and this first launch includes three models. The collection will be launched with two time and date models in steel and two-tone, and one Instant Grand Date with day and moon phases in platinum. It has been in production for a year now and is expected to be priced between $41,250 and $88,380.

Crayon “Anywhere Arborea”
Krayon’s Remi Maillat has shocked once again with a limited edition of 15 pieces of the Anywhere model. The dial is a reinterpretation of Henri Rousseau’s iconic painting ‘The Primeval Forest at Sunset’. The platinum case is carefully hand-painted with 575 miniature alveoli of different shapes and sizes.

Frederique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacturing
Frederique Constant presents its Worldtimer Manufacturing collection in two limited editions in green, one in stainless steel and one in rose gold. The stainless steel case is limited to 718 pieces, while the 18K rose gold case is limited to 36 pieces. The world timer function is managed through the crown along with all other basic functions.

NOMOS Tangente and Orion Neomatik Dore
NOMOS has decorated its Tangente and Orion models in gold tones. Both feature yellow gold-tone hands, but the Orion model also has matching raised indexes. They exhibit typical NOMOS Bauhaus style: restraint and elegance, and both are powered by the in-house automatic movement DUW 3001.

Urwerk UR-150 Scorpion
Urwerk has reinvented the iconic Satellite Hour complication with the most ambitious retrograde system ever devised. When the hour hand reaches 60, the retrograde hand jumps 240° and the hour satellite rotates 270°. Although complex, it is one of the most compact models in Urwerk’s current offering.

Ulysse Nardin Freak One Navy Blue
Ulysse Nardin pays homage to the tradition of marine chronometer excellence with this new color for the Freak One. The case is a composite material of carbon and titanium and frames a navy blue guilloché dial. The rubber strap matches the color of the dial and the deployment clasp matches the color of the case.

MB&F x Eddy Jaquet LM Split Escapement
MB&F has decided to collaborate with master sculptor Eddie Jacquet to release eight unique pieces. Inspired by Jules Verne’s novel, the first edition won a GPHG award, but this time we’re taking inspiration from classic novels. Eddie engraved each watch’s movement plate with a unique scene never before depicted.

Breitling Chronomat B01 42 Australia & New Zealand Country Edition
Breiling releases the Panda Dial Chronomat exclusively for Australia/New Zealand. The two models share the same black and white palette, but one features an embellished diamond bezel. Each edition is limited to 140 pieces and once again commemorates the brand’s founding anniversary.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Date
Jaeger-LeCoultre presents the nifty new Master Ultrathin Date, measuring just 39 x 7.8 mm. The dial is made of a newly created blue-grey, the same tone as last year’s Reverso Duoface Chronograph. Despite its extreme thickness, the Caliber 899 can be admired through the sapphire case back.

Raymond Weil x Largo Winch Millesime Tricompax Chronograph
Raymond Weil has chosen the Millesime Tricompax platform to release his collaboration with the iconic French-Belgian comic series “Largo Winch”. Largo Winch artist Philippe Frank designed the case back of this piece, which features a unique view of Geneva. This limited edition of 300 pieces features a green counter and green print around the tachymeter scale.

Zenith x Porter Pilot Khaki Ceramic
Zenith has partnered with Japanese luggage brand Porter to release two limited edition pilot watches. Both the automatic and Big Fly Date Back models are limited to 500 pieces. The two models are inspired by Porter’s signature color scheme, with a green ceramic case and orange hands and print on the dial.

H. Moser x Massena Lab Endeavor Chronograph Compax
This Moser x Massena collaboration takes the form of a modular chronograph that turns Moser’s minimalism on its head. The Endeavor Chronograph Compax with a 41mm steel case is powered by an in-house Moser base caliber combined with a Dubois-Depraz chrono module. This release is limited to 100 pieces and is priced at $27,600.

Wren Diver One Snow
Wren is a Swiss watch brand founded by Craig Karger, owner of Wrist Enthusiast. The Diver One Snow brings a winter feel to the summer category with its attractive smoked blue-white sandwich dial. It comes with an FKM rubber strap and bracelet and is limited to 100 pieces and priced at $965.

Farrer Field Collection Gen 2
Farrer launches its second generation Field collection with a textured blue, olive green, and sand dial with a cute pointer date. The redesigned case features a slimmer bezel, larger dial, and larger screw-down crown for more ergonomics. All three configurations are priced at $1,250 USD.

Hamilton x Engineered Garments Khaki Field Titanium
Hamilton collaborated with Japanese-American workwear brand Engineered Garments to design Khaki Field Titanium. The 36mm size and highly legible dial reflect the Engineered Garments ethos, and surprisingly there is no co-branding on the dial. The limited edition of 1,999 pieces hints at Engineered Garments’ founding year, and the watch is priced at $1,145 USD.

Aera C1 Chronograph
Aera has announced its first chronograph, following the D-1 series of divers’ watches and the P-1 series of pilot’s watches. The new C-1 Shadow has a stealthy, monochromatic look, while the C-1 Cloud is brighter and more colorful. Both models are limited to 300 pieces, with prices starting at $2,250 USD.

Angelus Instrument de Vitesse Indianapolis & Silverstone
Angelus introduces two new colorways of its monopusher chronograph model inspired by the famous racetrack. These models have a strong racing spirit, with the blue paying homage to America’s Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the gray paying homage to Britain’s Silverstone Circuit. The hand-wound movement is nothing new, but it’s only 4.20 mm thick.

Mido Multifort TV 35
The Mido Multifort TV 35 shows a commitment to vintage sizing and style. Despite being reduced in size, the product range retains solid specifications across a variety of references. The automatic Mido Caliber 72 has a power reserve of 72 hours, despite being only 3.85 mm thick.

Formex Stratos UTC
Formex proposes a travel watch with UTC and GMT functionality. Using the Dubois-Dépraz UTC module of ETA 2892, Formex regulates movement to +/- 7 seconds per day. The Stratos UTC starts at $3,850 and features Formex’s excellent on-the-fly adjustment clasp.
