Introduction: The New Baltit Hermétique Summer Collection

The Baltic Hermetique has been a genuine hit since its introduction in 2023. Since then, the Bethanson-based brand has added new models to its lineup, including additional colours and bronze pieces. Today, and just in time for a warm weather holiday, a collection of four Hermetique summer watches has been announced. These vibrantly colored field watches look like the perfect accompaniment for the beach or pool. Above all, they are reasonably priced and almost immediately available.

Watches in bright colors have been popular for a few years, but I rarely get bored of them. After all, they are still more unusual than typical black, blue, green or white watches. Plus, colorful watches are fun, especially when they’re affordable. The Baltic Sea now has its toes soaked in a multi-coloured pool and features four new pieces as part of the Hermetique Summer Collection.

For those who have tried out existing models, the new Hermetique summer watch is very familiar. They use the same 37mm x 46mm 316L stainless steel case, 10.8mm thick, including double-dome sapphire crystal.

These field-style watches include an angled polished bezel stuck to a brushed case. The holes in the excavated rug and the sides of this clean, military-style case show sophisticated polished crowns.

Four bright colored dial options

Hermétique Summer Editions come in four striking colors that look great against sunburn. The pink, orange, yellow and turquoise dials each have a black chapter ring. Baltotic uses BGW9 Super Luminova molded into indexes containing dots, batons and Arabic numbers. The dial sits under the hands of a bright syringe with a sophisticated frame and speaking second hand with bright dots. The classic, ultra-height layout is attractive and difficult to neglect.

Next, the molded bright index gives the right amount of modernity. Speaking of Super Luminova, the clock lights up like a torch in the darkness. Each element is well defined and gives off a blue glow.

Miyota 9039 is in the summer of Hermetique

Like other models in the collection, the Hermétique Summer variant uses the popular Miyota 9039. This automatic movement is robust and supports lower entry prices. It offers hacking, letters, 42-hour power reserve and 28,800VPH frequencies. Frankly, I always want to see the manual rewind caliber, but this is probably the right type of movement for the target audience.

Strap and bracelet optional host

Hermetique summer watches are available with a dial-matching tropical style FKM rubber strap with stainless steel pin buckles. Alternatively, buyers can choose 20mm wide stainless steel beads of Blythe or flat link bracelets. There’s no wrong choice here as it looks great with the watchhead. Furthermore, with excavated lug holes, switching between the strap and bracelet is relatively easy. Note that the bracelet doesn’t feature a Toolless Micro-Adjustment, so the straps can be a more comfortable option for heat.

Available at a reasonable price

Fun and affordable releases have always been great news and the Baltic Sea has been offering. The Hermétique Summer Watch is available on the Baltic Sea website for 550 euros with rubber straps or 615 euros for either bracelet. If the styling and colours are interesting, it feels very much. This is a layerless watch that should be able to withstand most holiday hijinks, and is not a stolen magnet. I tried The Hermétique and thought it felt great, but at the time the idea of ​​adding another dark clock was not interested in me.
