For Watches and Wonders 2025, Jaeger-Lecoultre decided to grow once more with the Ruverso collection. Jaeger-Lecoulte introduced this watch for Polo players almost a century ago. But today, watch enthusiasts and collectors consider Reverso to be their dress watch more than anything else. The latest tribute monofas is a small second in full pink gold on a matching mesh bracelet, and you can easily see why.
Reverso Tribute Monoface Pink Gold’s Little Second
I have tried Lexa many times on my wrist (many!). Jaeger-Lecoultre has sent me a variety of models to review, but I have also tried out the ones my friends and colleagues bought themselves. I love Reverso, but what I appreciate most often comes down to someone else’s wrist. Why? I don’t know. For a long time I thought it was that rectangular shape, but I can’t say this completely certain. As a matter of fact, I have always admired it from afar.
It is definitely an iconic watch that has matured since its launch in 1931. The Tribute series made its debut in 2011, paying homage to its first model, returning to Ruverso’s 80th anniversary. As you probably know, there were some interruptions in Reverso’s timeline, but since the 1980s it has returned in earnest and even became a signature watch for the brand.

A few weeks ago I traveled to Le Centier’s headquarters at Jager Lekul and met Jerome Lambert (recently back) and the product team. Trays with the new Reverso Collection were on the table, and all watches were subject to strict embargo. Two Reverso models stood out the most for me. Reverso’s Tribute Geography and this Tribute Monofas are a small second in pink gold on a Milanese bracelet.
I’ve noticed that I’ve rarely made the Ruverso Tribute Monoface appear in Pink Gold. The Milanese bracelet, made according to traditional methods, felt very well made. According to Jaeger-Lecoultre, the origin of this bracelet style dates back to the 13th century in Milan. Just a few centuries later, Milanese bracelets became popular with watches. Of course, the style took a big step in the 1970s. The Milanese link is made from two precious metal threads and gets this double layer of this small interlock link.
Full pink gold
I didn’t think Reverso would look very good on a Milanese bracelet. Additionally, Jaeger-Lecoultre has created this watch out of 18K pink gold, including the dial. The pink gold dial has a grain finish, and the polished hands and time markers are also made from pink gold. Except for the movement, sapphire crystal and gasket, this is an all-pink gold watch!
In terms of dimensions, Ruverso pays homage to the small second monofasting in pink gold (ref.q713216j). It is 27.4mm wide, 45.6mm long, and only 7.56mm thick. Perfect size for 18cm wrists. As Jorg explained in a Reverso article a few weeks ago (here), Reverso sizes were everywhere.
Milanese bracelet with integrated slide clasp
I love the pink gold case and dial, but the Milanese bracelet really makes this watch stand out. There’s no need to size it (as it used to be). Simply slide part of the bracelet down the clasp under the other part. The bracelet is thin enough so you don’t notice the double layer on one side. Jaeger-Lecoultre calls this “integrated slide clasp.”
Jaeger-Lecoultre uses a hand-wound caliber 822 in this new Reverso Tribute Monoface Smolts smolls. It has a 42-hour power reserve and has ticks at 21,600VPH. It is only 2.93mm thick, which helps keep this new Reverso case extremely slim.
Some thoughts on the new Reverso in pink gold
I tried this rebelso in pink gold and was interested in owning it. As you know, taste can change (or evolve) over time. Jaeger-Lecoultre says that although the watch is not a limited edition, its production will be limited due to its manufacturing capacity and resources, like all Reverso models.
I am sure this pink gold reverso homage to Milanese’s bracelet is not for everyone, and should not. Whether you want to fantasize about this pink gold model or not, it’s a talking piece and it’s something that’s worthy of a Reverso.
