A watch honoring team owner Fabian Cankerala, who became the owner of Tour de France and former Yellow Jersey.
Fabian “Spartacus” Kancherala is not a multi-world and Olympic champion, but a Swiss cycling legend, wearing the yellow leader of the Tour de France for 29 days and earning eight stages. Cancerrala last raced in France in 2016. This year he returned to the world’s largest bicycle race as the owner of the Tudor Pro Cycling Team. The team made their “TDF” debut this year, and the Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow” celebrates its memorable event and the success of the team owners. We saw this Carbon Saze cycling chrono with Tudor Red details on the Giro D’Italia Pink, and now there is a black and yellow version that creates a 300 numbered watch. Because it’s a lucky number from Spartacus.
If you are not on the side of the road, you can find the new Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow” (reference 25827knjn) on your TV. The new 43mm Carbon Saize chronograph is on the wrists of competing Tudor Pro Cycling riders competing in this year’s Tour de France, as well as the wrists of team owner Fabian Cancerrara. Tudor didn’t name the watch after him, but as he wore a yellow jersey for over 29 days (which won eight stages on TDF day), the watch pays homage to the world’s biggest bike race.
Races the 112th Tour de France along with Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow”
It all began with the black and red Pelagos FXD chrono “Cycling Edition,” followed by the Pelagos FXD chrono “Pink” with an Italian Giro twist, and now there is a TDF-themed “Yellow”. The watch has a 43 x 53 x 13.2mm carbon case with an automatic MT5813 diameter. This COSC certified chronograph movement (based on Breitling’s B01 caliber) has a 70-hour power reserve and is manufactured by Kinessi at Le Locle.
Finished with black matte, the carbon composite case features a retaining strap bar, holding a one-piece fabric strap with yellow stripes and matching hardware, and a black one-piece fabric strap. Cycling details include a 45° angle rehauout with a re-adjusted tachimeter focusing on the cyclists’ speed. When passing through the tunnels of the Alps, time markers with luminous ceramic composite monoblock apps are useful because they were visible at the time.
