Today, in the Fratello story, Nacho, Thomas and Rex join forces to discuss the topic of watch styling for enthusiasts and share some of their thoughts, opinions and methods. Some people like to think of watches as functional objects, but they are similar to fashion accessories in today’s world. It may sound like a blasphemous asp to some, but it’s hard to deny that it’s true. It is worth acknowledging the potential meaning of wearing a watch, as many watches blur the line between function and fashion. So whether you have chosen to dress with or around your watch, adjust and share your thoughts on the topic in the comments. Now let’s start checking your wrists.

Lex will begin a list check with this week’s Maurice Lacroix Aikon #Tide Benzilla Limited Edition. It’s a bold move, but it’s perfect for these long, warm days in late spring. Sometimes I want to blend in with my watch, and sometimes I make a statement. Let me guess which of the two Rexes you are aiming for here.
Thomas wears his trusty VPC type 37HW pigeon. The great thing about a VPC designed as a Gada Watch is that it is suitable for almost any occasion. And thanks to this model’s monochromatic colorway, it is just as versatile as a pair of white Oxford fabric button-downs and dark-washed Celvegi denim jeans.
And finally, your Lumberjack-Chic hosts are the most common, with Nacho wearing his Hamilton Khaki Field Auto. This is also an example of a rather versatile watch, and it matches well with the vibe of his outfit thanks to the Khaki-Green leather straps he chose. Such subtle details can be very helpful.
Fratello Talks: See the styling of lovers
Should your choice inform your clothes? Or should you let the watch of your choice know what your outfit is? Well, if you think along those lines, you’re already one step ahead of most people. And while we’re not going to move on to a 180-degree fashion blog all of a sudden, these are issues worth considering. Those who count themselves within fashion orientations will have something to do with some of the several topics we discuss today. But for you, this is a new realm, you may take away one or two useful tips or ideas about how this passion can be linked to the concept of dressing.

Do you enjoy dressing for/with your watch (i.e., straps, colours, etc.)? Or do you think of watches as fashion accessories? In any case, I would like to hear what you think in the comments below. And of course, we’ll adjust for a new episode of Fratello Talks next week.
