In this rapid seizure episode of Fratero Talk, Nacho and Rex take a short break from their busy schedule and discuss the watch and the highlights of Wonders 2025. The YouTube Studio location of the show starts with Rolex and Tudor, then moves to the strange favourites and unexpected head turner, and runs quickly through some of the most notable releases. Of course, this episode just scratches the surface. Next week we’ll be back with a full-length episode to discuss more about the new watch. But it’s time for a wrist check before it all.
Wrist check
Rex passes through the canyon of Paleppo with his bright white dance Grand Seiko Tough Quartz SBGX341. As far as simple watches go, this is a solid option. And that’s exactly what you need for this intense watch and wonder.
Nacho places his latest watch, the 1970 lovely Caraversy Hunter “Devil Diver” through his pace at the fair. This 36.5mm dive watch was made by Caravelle, Bulova’s sister brand. It was made in the 60s and 70s, and even in the 80s. The hand-wound civic movement is bolstering this charming vintage dive watch featuring beautiful Tritium Lume figures.

It’s an intense yet exciting time for the watch world, with countless brands scattered around Geneva on display. Today, Nacho and Rex took over the YouTube studio in the main event, quickly reviewing some of the show’s highlights. And while there are plenty of them, they are not close to covering the hundreds (if not thousands) watches introduced on April 1st. But don’t worry. I’ll be back next week with a full episode.
