Everyone knows the story: you start with a paper clip and swap your path home. Canadian blogger Kyle McDonald made it happen in 2006 with his one red paper clip project. Can this principle be applied to clocks on a small scale? Today, at Fratello Talk, Nacho, Thomas and RJ will be taking part in discussing topics and sharing their experiences. It was a potentially advantageous pursuit at the time, but it has yet to be seen whether it can still be traded to upgrade today’s watches. Before we get into the episode, it’s time to check your wrists.
Wrist check
Today’s RJ’s wrist is his Apollo 11 50th anniversary model from 18K Moonshine Gold, the Speedmaster that rules them all. He wasn’t traded accurately in this one big case full of speedy ties, but it’s still his holy grail for everyday wear.
Thomas is a blue kick with VPC type 37HW in the sportiest colorway. He hasn’t recovered the grey version yet, so he has to do the blue version in between. But the sound of things makes him feel accustomed to and even liked this thing.
Nacho went with his trusty titanium Breitling Aerospace. This model from the early 2000s combines a slim, lightweight yet sturdy titanium case with multi-functional quartz movement. There are also digital minute repeat customers.
