We are all familiar with Speedmasters, Submariners and Royal Oaks in this world. He is also familiar with Ingenieurs, Reversos and Andy Warhols. However, many watches in top brand catalogs are painfully overlooked. In today’s episode of Fratello Talks, we’re watching a handful of them. You may not hear about these watches every day, but we believe they deserve more trust than they get. Of course, these are just some of the many underrated watches out there, so if you missed one of your favorites, be sure to let us know. But now, let’s see what you have on your wrist today.
Wrist check
RJ wears the 50th anniversary of the Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11, a daily beater at 18K Moonshine Gold. There are not many people out there who can truly say that about gold speed. But, as we’ve seen over the past few weeks, RJ isn’t afraid to wear a day.
Thomas is still spending time with VPC type 37HW, so there’s nothing too shocking about it here.
And finally, Nacho mixes it with a watch you’ve owned for longer than any other watch he wears, but this has never been a wrist check. It is the 1974 Omega Geneve St 166.0190. I’ve been with him since he was a student, but recently he’s only gone to serve it. Now I’m fully prepared for the long-standing wrist time. The Fixoflex bracelet is what he looked like when he bought it and remains his preferred way of wearing it after thorough cleaning and minor repairs.
Fratello Talks: Top Brands’ Most Overlooked Watches
In today’s episode, our focus is firmly set on watches from major brands that are sadly thought to be overlooked. We are sure we are just damaging the surface, but these are some of the things that come to mind without lowering the rabbit hole deep. As traditional, we don’t give everything here, so if you want to know all the watches mentioned in the episode, you need to tune them.
What are the top brand watches you think you’re criminally overlooked? Please let us know in the comments below. Please adjust for a new episode of Fratero Talks next week.
