No matter what your opinion of the brand, Rolex should be there for anyone. The brand’s back catalogue is vast and full of great references. In today’s episode of Fratello Talks, we each pick three favorites. Nacho, Thomas, and Lex have done some research, but prior to this improvisation episode, there are many deep cuts, some overlaps, and on-the-fly changes as they are little or no aligned. In the end, each one is pretty pleased with his pick. And in this favourite quest we certainly enter some of the best Rolex watches ever made. Tune it and comment on your favorites below. So let’s take a look at what’s on your wrist today.
Small Disclaimer: There is a short drop in audio quality of about 11 minutes of episodes. Don’t worry, it only lasts a few seconds before returning to normal.
Wrist check
We have a type 37HW on our wrist from Thomas, who represents his brand VPC. If, like Thomas, you designed your views on the perfect Gada watch, you’ll wear it every day too. It not only provides a way to represent your own brand, but also offers the opportunity to take a continuous daily attire test. And ultimately, it’s something that’s designed for watches.
Rex is still strong with his Grand Seiko SBGX341. Unlike Thomas, Rex did not play a role in designing or creating this watch. He really seems to like it. And we can’t blame him! It looks good, is worn, and requires little input from the wearer.
Nacho offers a second slice with a wrist check that has become like a VPC sandwich. He also wears a Type 37 HW with a dove’s gray dial. On today’s wrist check, there’s not just a Rolex, but don’t worry. There are a lot of them to sink your teeth during the episode.
Fratello Talks: Our Favorite Rolex Watches
The premise is simple. Participants can choose from three Rolex references. There are no price, rarity or production date restrictions. It is recommended to avoid overlap, but in either case you can choose a backup pick. Honorable mentions are also permitted. that’s it! As always, we’re not going to pass it all here, so if you want to find all the guys picks, you need to tune. Let’s take a sneak peek at one of them from each one.

Lex is sweeping the Rolex Explorer II Reference 1655, a pick that Nacho and Thomas are forced to replace their choices.
Next, Nacho joins one of his backup picks, the Rolex Explorer 1016. The 36mm classic features its unique tritium numbers and little charm.
Thomas rewinds the clock with his pick, the Rolex Submariner 5508 in this episode. He recently got this particular reference when he reviewed an article you can find here. And it tastes as much as you get without listening, so be sure to tune it! Please let us know your favorite Rolex watch in the comments section below.
