Dave is wearing the newly launched Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon in Green. This model illustrates the proficiency of Piaget in ultra-thin mechanics. The extremely thin silhouette and the complications of Tour Billon are technical standouts.
Rex has his Grand Seiko Tough Quartz SBGX341. Known for its white dial with red/orange accents and a highly accurate 9F61 quartz movement, this watch is one of Rex’s favorite everyday wearers. The elevated chapter rings, contrasting colour touches and Zaratsu-polished facets contribute to its impressive yet reliable character.
Nacho wears a 1974 Omega Zeneva with a distinctive TV style dial. This piece brings a touch of retro talent to the mix and serves as a concrete link to 1970s design experiments. He is also pleased to bring Zeneve back to his eponymous homeland.
Fratello Talks: Geneva Watch 2025 Highlights
Geneva Watch 2025 marked a turning point. With 66 brands participating, the show is bigger and more diverse than ever. This growth gives the feel of a proper international watch fair, but this sometimes risks losing an intimate and casual character that is very unique to the earliest editions. Still, the atmosphere remains open and engaging, with collectors, media and industry insiders crossing the path in ways that bigger shows wouldn’t allow.
This episode highlights some of the outstanding presentations from across the spectrum, including Dennison’s new stone dial dual-time model, QP Balancier, and Dennison, who demonstrated the uncompromising autoholloggery with the colorful Zenith ignoring the USM model. If you want to get ideas for the full range of highlights, you need to tune it.
