A few weeks ago we discussed how we were thinking about some of the best watches of 2025 overall. We realized that the chronograph was somewhat underrated in that episode and could not skip it. Today, we’re discussing the best chronographs of 2025 (so far) at Fratello Talks. Join Nacho, RJ and Thomas in the studio. This selects three of their favorite Chronos, each released up to this year. So, if you want to do some little fry timing (or want a completely soft boiled egg), put your finger on the pusher and get ready. It’s time to see some of the most notable chronographs of 2025. But the first time I check my wrist.

While the statement “RJ is wearing a Speedmaster” may not be surprising, it’s not every day that the speedy in question is the 1974 MK II. Today, that day is that day.
Thomas wears the new Casio EFK-100 with forged carbon. This is my first outing to the brand’s mechanical watch. Thomas spends some time on some models as he works on practical reviews. If you want to read his full thoughts on these new automatic building models from Casio, you can do so here.
And finally, Nacho has been right for its podcast on the chronograph, but it wasn’t released in 2025. So, it coincides with the theme of spirit, but the chronograph we will explain today is much more modern.
Fratello Talks: Best Chronographs of 2025 (So far)
I picked my overall favorite of the year a few weeks ago, but I realized there was no clear shortage of chronographs in the selection. So today we decided to choose our favourite pusher equipment elapsed time manager ever released in 2025. As always, we don’t give them everything here. However, each person will see a preview of one pick. Start with the selected Thomas with your new Jaeger-Lecoultre Polaris Chronograph. It was featured in Watches and Wonders earlier this year, and is a great example of the brand’s sportier products.
RJ chose the new Grand Soikotokio Lion folding as one of his picks. This model was introduced in watches and wonders and stood out as one of the brand’s bold releases. I don’t look at lion-like chronographs every day, but they are good for creating unique looking watches.
Finally, Nacho chose the Sinn 613 St UTC. It combines common products from the Frankfurt-based brand with GMT and chronograph features, combining both well despite the busy dial layout.
If you want to know the remaining six picks, you need to listen. For now, let me know your favorite chronograph of 2025 (so far).
