Hello and welcome to Fratello Talk! Today, we’re celebrating the 100th episode milestone with a special Q&A. We asked people to send us questions, and they answered them. We’ve been collecting, sorting, and selecting questions over the past few weeks. In today’s episode, Nacho, RJ, and Thomas unite to answer those questions. We cover a variety of topics, from the usual what-ifs to the practice of journalism, our favorite watches under a certain price point, and even the lessons we’ve learned over the last 100 podcast recordings. Your question could be one of the many we answer in this celebratory episode, so be sure to tune in and wait. But before we get into it, let’s start (as always) with a wrist check.

When RJ is in a celebratory mood, chances are he has a gold Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 on his wrist. And that is exactly the case today. Golden Speedy is a fitting choice as it celebrates this golden milestone of 100 episodes.
Thomas is still focused on the green dial VPC Type 37HW. This is a very exciting time for the brand as the movement is delivered from COSC to the watchmaker who will be responsible for assembly and final checks. This means that for users who have ordered VPC Watches, we are nearing the early stages of shipping the first batch of VPC Watches. After two years of work, Thomas is equally proud and relieved to see his vision come to life and reach the wrists of people around the world.
No surprises today as Nacho chooses to wear his trusty Tudor Pelagos FXD ‘USN’. As for the strap, I chose the dark gray single pass from CNS Watch Bands. It’s a little too close to tell, but FXD gave his Seamaster 2254 a good value for money rating as the most worn watch of 2024. In fact, it is likely that it will eventually break into the top ranks between now and the end of the year. Defeat Omega and get the crown.
Fratello Speaks: Episode 100 Q&A Special
What better way to celebrate 100 episodes of Fratello Talks than by answering your questions? Over the past few weeks, we’ve been asking you to share your thoughts, and today… I was finally able to provide some answers. Thank you to everyone who sent in their passionate questions. There were so many participants that we had to make choices to fit the episode within the time limit. However, if you liked this special episode, we may repeat the Q&A. For now, please watch and enjoy!
