Welcome to the season 2 finale of Fratello Talks. As the end of the year approaches, we take a look back at some of the best watches of 2024. Nacho was joined by RJ and Rex to prepare a list of favorites under six predetermined categories. And while they discuss some of the watches they think are the best watches of the year, you can decide which of these watches earns the title of Fratello Readers’ Choice as the best watches of 2024 . This week’s list check is truly festive. First, let’s talk about Rex’s reunion with Grand Seiko SBGX341. This white dial quartz GS was kept at a service center for a new battery and some light touch-ups. The polished surface is subjected to a Zaratsu process that is only allowed by Grand Seiko craftsmen. It looks fresh and you’ll be wearing it on your wrist for years to come.

RJ loves the Breguet Type XX. After a not-so-memorable first impression, he decided to accept it without any doubts. Now, three weeks into his month-long loan, he’s found himself enjoying the watch more than he ever imagined. Stay tuned to this site for his hands-on review published later today.

Nacho is wearing the watch that represents 2024 for him: the Tudor Pelagos FXD. It was his most worn watch of the year, and one he still can’t get enough of. And while the newly introduced GMT version of the FXD was appealing, for him nothing could match the black-dial ‘USN’ model.
