Some of them are from disgraced regimes, and the new models resemble high fashion collaborations. Let’s see what we think!
Military watches are a deep topic. Books have also been written about these, and brands continue to invest in creating new models. We discuss the topic and explain what we like and what makes us uncomfortable.

After a quick explanation of the weather, we quickly move on to working on the clock. Last week saw a ton of new releases. The revised Omega Speedmaster First Omega in Space debuted to near-universal praise. we are fans! Then the questionable Nomos Tangente 2 Date went down, along with its outrageous complications. Like many, we hope this watch is a preview of other works to come. In Handgelenkskontrolle, Baracs wears a special Grana chronograph that incorporates Hungarian military history. Mike is wearing a brand new 1971 Certina Jubilee. This is a quirky tank-shaped watch with a hand-wound movement.
military watch
Military watches form an interesting subgenre within our hobby. People collect them for their history, innovation, and even personal connections to events and service sectors. Some collectors may have served, others may have relatives who fought for their homeland. Of course, some of these parts were used by enemy forces. Some collectors choose to avoid these watches altogether. There are also collaborations with modern military watches. How do we feel about wearing a current production watch made in partnership with special forces? We discuss all this and more.
Thank you for listening today. We hope you enjoy the program. If you have additional show topics, please let us know in the comments.
