Welcome to another episode of Fratello on Air. This week we’re starting a two-part series on vintage chronographs. Apparently, our listeners like to hear about these complicated clocks that measure the elapsed time. Please note that the clock content will start in about 25 minutes.
Vintage chronographs are a special category of watches. They are complex, often fragile and oddly addictive! In this episode, we begin to explore what makes them so fascinating. In the following article, you will get a more specific understanding of your model, movement, and what you are looking for when you buy.
Handgelenkskontrolle
Our episode begins with a discussion about Super Bowl Lix. After that, we’ll explain more TV shows. Mike mentioned a recent visit to Rose Bells, a London-based auction house, where he took part in the preview and witnessed interesting behavior. In the case of Handgelenkskontrolle, the microphone wears the precious Rolex Date 1600 with a blue dial. Balaz enjoys his Rolex Submariner 5513. He recently featured in a great article.

Next, we will begin discussing the main topics. Why are we so fascinated by chronographs? We began gathering travels that wanted these types of watches, but found ourselves attracted to the various decades of scattered stuff. Mike jumped into the 60s, but Balaz enjoyed the “40s, 50s, 70s.” The episode ends with reference to iconic models such as the Omega Speedmaster, Rolex Daytona, Breitling Navitimer, Whayer Carrera, and Universal Geneva Compax.
