Elvis Presley was known to have a lovely watch soft spot. In 2018, Presley’s Omega Dress Watch was made in white gold and auctioned for 44 brilliant cut diamonds on the bezel for USD 1.8 million. The watch ended at the Omega Museum in Beer, Switzerland.
Elvis Presley’s Omega Watch
During Beer’s final visit to Omega, they monitored Elvis Presley from the display, dressed it and let them observe it nearby. But Tiffany & Co. -Before we go into detail about Signed Omega Watch, let’s dig into what it turned out with Elvis Presley.
Now I have to admit, my knowledge of Elvis Presley is what I read about him in Wikipedia, a documentary I saw years ago and the 2022 film Elvis (worth watching). It is limited to. Of course, I also listen to his songs. Aside from the scope of healthy praise for some people, I find it difficult to get a star track. But there’s something special about the NASA astronaut, or Elvis Presley, who walked the moon wearing a watch that once belonged to John F. Kennedy (Omega Museum).
Elvis Presley Day, February 25th
King of Rock ‘N’ Roll has an estimated 1 billion records sold to his name all over the world. However, 65 years ago, in 1960, the numbers were much lower, but they were still very impressive. That year, he won a milestone of 75 million records when he hit “Are you lonely tonight?”. According to a later investigation, Elvis Presley reached this number on December 25, 1960. His recording company RCA Victor (now RCA Records) celebrated this on February 25, 1961, and decided to “honor King of Rock ‘N’ Roll at Elvis Presley. Day.” He received plaques commemorating the 75 million records he sold worldwide.
The representative of RCA Victor also went to the Tiffany & Company store and purchased this Omega watch in white gold and diamond set by Elvis Presley. The following text is engraved on the caseback:
Diamond set watch replacement
Elvis Presley wore a white gold omega during the concert on February 25th, 1961. According to the Elvis Presley Museum, Elvis met someone wearing a diamond-studded Hamilton watch. As Hamilton’s owner praises the King’s White Gold Omega, Presley, known for giving and doing trade surveillance, proposed a deal. A few years later, the Omega watch ended in the man’s nephew’s hands and was auctioned by Phillips in 2018 for USD 1.8 million.
American made case
According to the auction listing, RCA Victor bought this Omega ref. H6582/D96043 from 1960. The claim was made by the American manufacturer, Jonell Watch Case Company. Based on the serial number (15926025), Omega discovered that it included a Calibre 510, a dial, and a mobile phone, sent to the brand’s agent Norman Morris on April 15, 1958.
Elvis Presley’s watch ended with Tiffany & Company, and the store’s logo was engraved on the dial. For example, for Patek Philippe Watches, Tiffany & Co. I’m doing this today as well. For the auction, Elvis Presley’s Omega Tiffany & Co. The Watch comes with a certificate of reliability from the Elvis Presley Museum and a letter signed by Jimmy Velvet, the museum’s founder and CEO.
Elvis Presley Omega on the wrist
Return to the Omega Museum of Beer earlier this year. It was not easy to take an Elvis Presley watch out of the display. There was a formal OK and security guards were also there. Of course, I fully understand precautions as this is an invaluable piece of the Omega Museum. However, when I got on my wrist, I tended to forget about my surroundings. This watch once belonged to King of Brock and Roll. He had it on his wrist as he sang his song, and now it was on my wrist. The 33mm wide watch is a little smaller, but it looks a little bigger due to the silver dial and diamond set bezel. The strap isn’t the original and honestly, it’s a strange choice for this watch, but that’s how Phillips auctioned it off.
Elvis Presley’s Omega dial is no longer in pristine condition as it shows several marks and spots, but the applied index and printed logo are still intact. The small subdials have a navy blue urage texture that creates the depth of the dial.
Presley’s Omega backpack has a sculpture from RCA Victor. In addition, the use of 18K gold is mentioned.

I’m trying to find another
The reference numbers on the watch are pretty useless (as it’s not an Omega reference), so I started looking for a caliber 510 watch with a similar appearance and came across this reference. 14727.
However, most Omega watches of that era have an alpha or Dauphin hand. Elvis’ watch has a pencil hand. The similarities are primarily within the dial, with applied time markers and a circularly engraved subdial. I didn’t find another example in white gold, let alone one with the same pencil hand. That’s a shame as I like the elegant shape and size of this white gold omega. On the other hand, I think Elvis’ watches are a unique piece.
After wearing my watch for a while, taking pictures and small videos, I returned it to someone at the Omega Museum. Elvis Presley’s Omega is not the only watch in the museum with the famous name as its previous owner, but it certainly speaks to a lot of imagination. I would like to expand my big “thank you” to the Omega Museum because I let you handle the clock.
