Last January, Swatch introduced the crowd-pleasing all-black Scuba Fifty Fathoms Ocean of Storms. Just over a month ago, in early December, the Blue Lagoon model debuted. In 2025, Swatch looks at life through rose-colored glasses as it introduces this latest edition to its SFF lineup. Introducing the bright and bold Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean.
We often ask ourselves: “Will there be a new MoonSwatch or Scuba Fifty Fathoms?” What will the Swatch folks come up with next?” And, although the pace has certainly slowed lately, it’s important to try new things. You can’t fault this fearless brand. In January 2024, FFS entered its emo phase with the blacked-out Ocean of Storms. This model became the most popular and sought-after version of the Blancpain x Swatch collaboration. After a relatively long period of radio silence, Blue Lagoon made its spectacular debut just before the end of the year. After blue is pink. Well, if you’re wondering, there’s a corresponding sea slug. The model released today features a portrait of Ceratodoris Rosacea on the case back. This sea-dwelling alien creature looks like a real Pokemon, just like every sea slug I’ve ever seen.
Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean
The bold new Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean features a balanced blend of pink and magenta hues to create a unique color scheme. Inspired by the various pink bodies of water found around the world. There are also some subtle white details to keep it from becoming too monochromatic. But apart from the rosy new guise, it’s the same SFF we’ve known for years.

It features a regular 42.3mm bioceramic case and 48mm lug length. It is 14.4 mm thick and has a water resistance rating of 91 meters (300 feet, or 50 fathoms). Equipped with a 60-minute rotating bezel, the hands, dial and bezel insert are illuminated with Grade A Super-LumiNova. This watch is equipped with Swatch’s signature Sistem51 movement. You can read more about the movement and its manufacturing process here.
The final detail is that, similar to last year’s Blue Lagoon, this bioceramic diver has replaced the original one-piece strap with a striped pink and white two-piece (made from recycled fishing nets). This is a great option for the beach, but it’s certainly not for those who are afraid to add flare to their look with a not-so-subtle dash of color. Price-wise, it’s usually around 400 EUR/400 USD. This latest model will be available at your local Swatch boutique from February 1st. If you need a little help living a rosy life this year, Swatch is here to help.
