Unimatic is busy introducing a series of clever new releases. Only last week I did a hands-on review of the brand Modello UNO Heritage GMT Diver from a series of lovely vintage-inspired models. Today we are treated to a new trio of models taking a different path. The three Modello Uno Prodiver models incorporate a set of modern dive characteristics into the brand’s most popular models. The watch is taken after the first duo of Proniber models introduced in 2023. The most exciting of the three new models is the lightweight titanium model. I had the opportunity to get the idea for the new Unimatic Modello UNO Prodiver collection, using the orange dial stainless steel version for spins.
In June I spent two weeks in Croatia and took a break. It decorated my wrists for the second consecutive year, for the second consecutive year. The second watch I took was the Christopher Ward C65 Dune GMT, which had two different watches. But exactly as I did last year, I wore the Modelouno the most. It is a great, sturdy modern diving watch that will make you a great everyday wearer. My U1S-PD5 was part of the Proniber model duo that was announced in 2023. Unimatic has created two modern, competent diving watches, using the familiar minimalist style of the two watch brands. They have integrated the same specifications of the new Prodiver collection to develop a set of three new models.
The imaginative story of the Modello UNO PRONIVER collection
At first glance, these watches may look like pretty standard Modelou Nou watches, and you’re not wrong. But once again, the appeal of Unimatic is all about subtle differences. As I have explained many times here in Fratello, the minimalist canvas created by imaginative founders Giovanni Moro and Simone Nunziato offers a huge variety of options, but allows for minor adjustments.
I really like this exploration of various options within the boundaries of the set. If anything, because Moro and Nunjiart have shown over and over again that these boundaries are far from limiting. Certainly, you have to like aesthetics. But if that’s the case, there’s no reason to play the checker while they still explore all the chess options.
So, what does that mean from the perspective of these new producers? Let’s talk about the details. First of all, it’s good to explain that Pronibar Watch’s latest trio consists of a new titanium modello uno ref. The U1S-T-PD6-B and two stainless steel models are the first one being the Modello UNO U1-PD3-B with a black dial and the second being the Modello UNO U1-PD3-OR OR OR ORANGE dial. All three models are limited to 300 units each. There are some notable differences between the titanium model and the two stainless steel models, so let’s take a look at them separately before entering the orange dial modello UNO U1-PD3- or before you have the chance to try it out for a while.
Unimatic Modello uno ref. U1S-T-PD6-B
The most interesting of the three models is the Modello UNO U1S-T-PD6-B. It features a branded Slim Modello Uno case running on sandblasted titanium of this model. The case has a diameter of 40mm, a 41.5mm bezel, with a thickness of 12.3mm and 14.4mm without sapphire crystal. The lug-to-lug is 49mm, the lug spacing is 22mm, and the case is resistant to 600m. In short, this lightweight titanium version of my watch increases the water resistance by another 100 meters, making it a seriously spec diver.
The bezel features a ceramic bezel insert infused with matte black rooms. It features a white Super Luminova BGW9 diving scale that illuminates turquoise. The bright scale and font used in the bezel are the first two elements specific to the Proniber model. The matte black dial contrasts with the oversized marker that features a slim outline, with a date window at 6am. Although not exclusive to Pro Divers, all models have these overview markers and add details. The index, hour hand and second tips feature orange white Super Luminova, contrasting with the turquoise blooms on the bezel insert and fine hands.
Lightweight modello uno ref. The U1S-T-PD6-B is the perfect next step in the Pro Deliver series
Within the lightweight case (63 grams), imagination equips the Sellita SW200-1A with a watch. The automatic aperture runs at 28,800VPH, has 26 gems and provides a 41-hour power reserve. This is a reliable powertrain for this professional diver, and it runs many great watches. Finally, this watch is found on a black nylon NATO style strap with titanium sandblasting hardware. It finishes the look of the style. Overall, this new, improved titanium version of my Modello Uno Prodiver feels like the next logical step in the series.
As already mentioned, Modello uno ref. The U1S-T-PD6-B is produced with a limited number of 300 units available for VATs of over 1,500 euros. Given that the stainless steel version is over 1,200 euros VAT for rubber straps, it seems like a reasonable step up considering the use of lightweight titanium. As you know, I like this new lightweight version. Can I replace the stainless steel version? In theory, it’s definitely! However, I love wearing my version with a stainless steel bracelet and this new model still doesn’t have a matching titanium bracelet. Who knows, it could be the perfect imaginative next step.
Unimatic Modello uno ref. u1-pd3-b and ref. u1-pd3-or
The two stainless steel models also feature the same spec set with different dials. Both modello uno refs. u1-pd3-b and ref. The U1-PD3-OR has a 40mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.2mm and 14.4mm without sapphire crystal.
These two watches have slightly thicker cases, but the overall height is the same due to the thick sapphire crystal. Both watch cases are 49mm from lug to lug, with a lug width of 22mm and water resistant up to 300m.
Both models feature the same matte black ceramic bezel insert. The titanium model features a white Super Luminova BGW09 marker. and ref. The U1-PD3-B features a matte black dial similar to the titanium model.
ref. The U1-PD3-OR features an orange dial with a white marker. As you can see, both of these models have a complete set of indexes and do not have a date opening at 6 o’clock. Like the titanium model, the Super Luminova illuminates turquoise and orange in the darkness, another Pro Deliver Series feature. But the orange dial gave the clock some extra pizza in the dark, so you can see.
Within the case of these two models is the Seiko NH35A caliber. This automatic caliber runs at 21,600VPH and has 24 gems and a 41 hour power reserve. The Seiko NH35A is a reliable ability to be imaginative. This was a reliable option for affordable models that the Sellita Calibers drives more exclusive models. As a result, the NH35A-powered models are also more affordable. Along with the titanium model, these two stainless steel models are also limited to 300. Both come with black hardware with black nylon NATO straps and cost over 750 euros.
I’m wearing a Modello uno ref. u1-pd3-or
As mentioned before, there was a new orange dial version for review. Soon, despite the new orange dial, it will become familiar to your wrist. The overall aesthetic is reminiscent of my modello uno ref. U1-S-PD5. However, there are some differences as well.
The first is the particularly slim case of my watch. It is only a 1mm difference, and there is no difference in total height, but wears slightly differently. The stainless orange model feels a little stiffer than the previous Proniber model. Again, it’s not that dramatic as I own a few as it resembles other NH35A-equipped models. That’s why it’s a very familiar experience wearing this new orange dial modello UNO.
However, it must be said that it is not a watch for people with small wrists. The gorgeous modern case design features a rather straight rug, making it a little difficult to pull away with a small wrist. But on my wrist, Unimatc Modello Uno feels like he’s at home. It feels like it’s well built, and removing the crown and adjusting the time makes it smooth and secure.
The 120-click bezel creates the light, resilient sound that I love and spins it nicely. Unimatic’s nylon NATO straps are always of excellent quality. They balance the wrist watch. It’s a small detail, but I would prefer simple stainless steel hardware along the case color. That’s not a change in my overall opinion, it’s easy to solve with a mimicking NATO strap with silver hardware.
Final Thoughts on the New One-Side Modellounou Prodiver Collection
Overall, it’s great to see the 2023 Proniva model get follow-ups from these three new models. The two Seiko-driven models are excellent modern, professional diving watches at an affordable price. They incorporate a room-infused ceramic bezel, two-color room and an overall style from the first two models. This is a great option for those looking for a competent diver at an affordable price. The Black Dial version looks the most familiar, but the Orange Dial version offers a new, fresh take on Modello UNO.
However, if you already have one or more imaginative models, the titanium model is the most interesting of the new watches. This is a logical follow-up to the first duo of the Proniber model. With the new lightweight titanium case, the brand hopes to explore new permanent territory for Modelouno.
If possible, I would like to see more titanium models with a titanium bracelet. That would be a great development I will praise loudly. New modello uno ref. The U1S-T-PD6-B is not the first titanium model of the Italian brand. However, it is the perfect material for the brand’s modern Pro Delivery models. So I’m happy to see this step heading in a great direction for the brand.
