Well, the cat is out of the bag. The concept we tried in the heart of our hometown of Melbourne, challenged London’s Oxford Circus six months ago, graduating to the Big League in terms of clock cities and iconic locations in general.
That’s one of the very difficult things to understand and you keep saying it loudly to make it more realistic. It’s more specific. It’s even more believable. “American time + tide.” I understand. “New York Time + Tide.” That’s good. “Time + Soho tide.” Even better. Soho, my favorite ‘food. “Bloom Street Time + Tide.” This must be the place. “Time + tide directly across from Rudy’s music, one of the great guitar shops on Earth.” Damn it, son… (If you don’t know this about me, I’m a complete guitar nerd. I wrote a book about them and interviewed Keith Richards about it. In the middle of my life, there are some crosses on my bucket list.)
As you know, I’m doing Google Earth with this development. I’ve started widely and focused on this feeling. But I’m not there yet. And as for this on the bucket list, I won’t lie after “Writing a book about guitar and quoting Keith Richards.” It wasn’t there. The store in New York City did not cut it. But here we are.
In the fall, or in the fall, if you are embracing local culture, open a third Watch Discovery Studio. And that’s our biggest bet. When you flick to the YouTube home screen and make another video, you can find out that you have created a mobile home, Instagram, TV house. It’s not a place for bricks or mortar.
The problem was that as soon as we built a “Clock Culture House” on Collins Street in Melbourne, people appeared in numbers that slowly and slowly changed their minds about the business being here. A unique and unparalleled offer that makes us different. And that’s about building more houses. more. Because every time we do it, we learn it – just like the promise of the saying, we build it and people come. Lots of them.
