Introduction: Salmon Dial Brelm Duo Box Triple Calendar Moon Phase

Brellum has released many small watches in a given year, so I was surprised it’s been nearly six months since my last review. Now we’re back and looking at the new Duobox triple calendar, MoonPhase LE Crolonmeter. Yes, that’s a bite, but the welcome news is that there is a salmon dial on the watch. Additionally, it can be used to select case materials.

Last year we reviewed the new Duobox Triple Calendar Moon Face. At the time, watches debuted with silver dials, limited to 46. The latest release features fashionable salmon dials. They also tend to have titanium case options. Let’s take a closer look.

Latest Brellum Duobox Triple Calendar Moon Phase

The latest Brellum introduction is equipped with a 41.8mm x 51.8mm x 51.8mm x 51.8mm case, at a thickness of 15.9mm/buyer. Those with large wrists can please this piece destroys the current trends of small watches. Despite this Duobox’s dressy look and multiple complications, the brand has achieved a 100m depth rating. This is a bonus if a large brand struggles to reach a chronograph rating of over 50. The straps are handmade with a crocodile pattern and a signed deployment clasp.

Oparin Salmon Diamond

Part of the big news surrounding the latest Duobox Triple Calendar Moon Face is the new Oparin Salmon Dial. This tone is increasingly popular among multiple watch brands, and it looks particularly good with complex watch dials. In fact, a mix of polished metal elements such as indexes, logos, and hands works well with the dial. However, the contrasting details must be the Blue Central Chronograph Hand and MoonPhase display. Compared to last year’s silver model, this looks warm and small due to the color choice. Also, all the details can be stood by yourself. Other details include the main hand Super Luminova and two small pips at the top of the dial.

Some blame the vast amount of information on the Triple Calendar Moon Phase dial, but the model’s name is a less subtle hint that this isn’t just a simple time-only clock. The top register includes a 30-minute counter with Windows this month and the day of the week. The subregister displays a moon phase indicator and has a 12-hour counter. The left register then runs a few seconds with polished hands, and the blue hand below it indicates day and night. Finally, the center displays time and fine hands, chronograph seconds and date pointers.

COSC certified Brealm BR-751

The moon phase of the triple calendar uses the brand’s automatic BR-751 caliber, which uses the chronometer certified Valjoux 7751 as its base. A small change is the use of a skeletonized, made-to-order 4N gold coating and numbered vibrating rotors. This movement may not be recognized as exotic, but it is an attractive sight through the domed sapphire crystal in the caseback. Specifications show that the automatic aperture frequency is 28,800VPH and has a power reserve of 46 hours. Perlage, Geneva Stripes, and Blued screws are part of the package.

Good news for people with medium to large wrists

With today’s shift to smaller diameters, the 41.8mm triple calendar lunar face could attack some as passers or non-contact. However, readers are always reminded that there is a larger (literally) market for larger watches. This Brealm may not work well on my wrist, but watch brands need to continue producing their pieces for different market segments.

Duobox Triple Calendar Moon Face – Pricing and Availability

Another reason for offering a larger watch is that Brellum creates very small batches. Only 33 of these watches are made. This includes the combination of stainless steel and titanium models. In other words, the exact amount of each is unknown until the order begins, but only 33 are made with salmon dial. The retail price for the Steel option is CHF 3,690. This is the same price as last year’s silver dial model. Titanium brings a slight increase, resulting in a CHF of 3,890.
