The Chopard Alpine Eagle Collection was introduced in 2019, and during six years of progress, luxury sports watches took away their own life. The latest clutch of this release, unveiled at Watches and Mysterious Geneva 2025, features the first of the collection, advancements in materials, an exciting new tour billon. Let’s get stuck.
Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 SL CADENCE 8HF
Let’s start with my favorite of the new Alpine Eagle release, the 41 SL Cadence 8HF. Not only does the watch contain the latest ultra-fast riots from Swiss brands, but it is also the lightest alpine eagle ever created with its case and movement, made entirely from ceramized titanium. I’ve seen this material that Chopard used before for watches like the Luc Time Traveler One Black, but this is the first time it’s been used in Alpine Eagle.
The case is 41mm wide and 9.75mm thick and achieved a Vickers hardness of 1,000 thanks to the process of oxidizing titanium using electroplasma technology. This brings the anthracite grey color of the watch into the movement. This is given the exact same treatment and as many components as possible are made of the same grade 5 titanium.
This movement continues its long high-frequency aperture from Chopard, telling the benefits offered by the vertical integration of the brand and the unique movement manufacturing. The company’s caliber 01.41C operates at a fast lightning 8Hz (double the speed of a standard mechanical watch movement), but achieves a 60-hour power reserve. This can be done thanks to the use of single crystal silicon across the pallet lever, escape wheel and impulse pins.
When the watch is turned over, the solid color dial retains a rich texture that is no longer a rich color, although the Alpine Eagle collection has become known. Instead, I choose a deep black with shadowed numbers and hands set, as opposed to the bright flash of orange, which means Chopard’s high frequency range. At 4:30 there is a small tone-on-date window at 4:30, pressed all the way to the edge of the dial. All of this high frequency and high tech material sets back a relatively small amount at USD 25,000, but is limited to 250 units.

Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum
Platinum is often considered the pinnacle of precious metals, and finally reached the Alpine Eagle collection with the new 41 XP CS Platinum. At first glance it may look like a standard model cast in new (and precious) metal, but there were some subtle design tweaks that made this feel a little more refined than the previous version.
To mark this model as being made from platinum, Chopard adopted the unique hand-carved feature of a small bumblebee, which is found to be hidden just below the left shoulder of the watch. This is a symbol adopted by the brand since the 19th century, equating it with the diligent, collaborative nature of insects.
The dial is light blue, a color that much of the watch world is associated with platinum, and Chopard continues the tradition of labeling certain versions of “icy shades” and giving them a name for the dial color that links to the Alps (or sometimes the Australian Outback). This Alpine Eagle dial is shown further here as the watch bezel really lightens and truly opens the tint of ice, with this 41mm case feeling slightly smaller than the true size.
Inside, Chopard’s LUC range and micro rotors are utilized, with exceptional movement from the 96.42 L caliber in Point de Geneva.

Chopard Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon
The final watches in this new collection are found in the most common case metal, but with one of the least common movements, the tourbillon movement. The Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon is wrapped in Lucent Steel, a brand’s trademark steel alloy made up of at least 80% recycled materials, giving this watch an incredible luster without the weight of precious metals.
The LUC 96.24-L will be making its first appearance on the Alpine Eagle Line despite its distinctive complications. The Flying Tourbillon has been part of the family since 2022.
The movement is also certified by Poinson de Geneve. This means that the level of finish displayed through the sapphire caseback is some of the most amazing things in Geneva. Thanks to the thinness of the movement, the overall thickness of the watch is simply clocked at 8mm, adding to the elegant atmosphere that this watch produces.
To ensure that the flying tour Billon continues to rise as rapidly as possible, Chopard used the brand’s twin technology to build two barrels into the movement. In other words, the barrel is axially mounted without infringing on the characteristics of this model.

Overall, these three new additions to Alpine Eagle will bring the collection of watchmaking and material use to new heights. In my mind, this integrated bracelet sports watch family will definitely continue to take a sharp rise through the brand’s collection and the recognition of watch enthusiasts around the world.
