The 97th Academy Awards, better known as the Oscar, took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. It is widely considered to be the most prestigious award in the film industry and is also one of the best clock spotting events on the calendar. Celebrities undoubtedly brought the Oscars to watches, and the 2025 edition was no exception. However, this year there was a big theme between the watches: gold. Lots of money. We are used to seeing precious metal pieces flaunted on the red carpet, which also had a bunch of gold watches last month’s Bufftus and January’s Golden Gloves, but all outstanding watches share material for their coveted case. This was my favorite from Hollywood nights.
