[F]Hot Takes: Urisnardin Blast (AmoureuxPeintre)

Today, there is a news of the limited edition from Ulysse Nardin, the Blast (AmoureuxPeintre). This is an interesting view of the explosion of the brand that combines the creative spirit of the United Nations and the more and more popular designers.

Uris Nardin is well known for a skeletonized dial, a very complicated movement, or a clear watch with both. The brand may be historic, but in the stylist, most of the collections are nothing. With a new blast, Ulysse Nardin works for Nike and 1017 Alyx 9SM and partner with VSEVOLOD SEVER CHEREPANOV, a designer who created several brands. His design is often monochromatic, and he tries to express the meaning through simpleness. Today’s work follows that spirit.

The current blast lineup is composed of different diameter and case materials. However, most have an X -shaped bridge and a skeleton dial that shows the inner work. BLAST (AmoureuxPeintre) shows this hint, but it is a very different execution. This watch uses a 42mm smoke -free PVD titanium sandblast case and bezel. Sapphire crystal is topped. The watch has a sporty air, but there is a top -side intention with a 50m water resistance evaluation and a gray alkantal strap.

In addition to the dark case, the chelepanov style is performed in the dial. Instead of open -work design, THE BLAST (AmoureuxPeintre) has a matte graspial dial that hints the movement. Other details are dark gray rehaouts with black letters of capital letters and time indicators. Skeletonized dagger hands are partially filled with gray Super Minova. Note that the clock does not show the second secondary seconds. The explosion (AmoureuxPeinter) offers a more modern and beautiful appearance that you like much more than I thought.

Hand-wound UN-371

BLAST (AmoureuxPeintre) uses an in-house UN-371 caliber. This hand -rolled movement has a 96 -hour power reserve and 21,600Vph. It is a completely modern design with silicone balance wheels, escape wheels, anchors, and balance spring. In order to maintain the unity of the design, the screw -in case back has a frost sapphire display. Like the front, the contour of the movement bridge and components is displayed.

Uris Nardin has created a 29 example of a blast (Amoureuxpeintre). The individual number is displayed on the small applied plaque on the case side. Watches from the brand are not cheap, and this work follows the suit at a price of 33,100 euros (including VAT). Again, these small numbers are available, and a tie with the artist should prove that the clock is popular.
