Hello and welcome to Fratello Talks! If you’re listening to this latest episode on the day of its release, that means there’s only one week left until Geneva Watch Days 2024. Today, Nacho, Rex and Thomas come together in front of the microphone to discuss the event and offer their hopes and predictions for what to expect from brands at the show. This year’s event will feature more brands than ever before, so there’s a lot to look forward to. Stay tuned to Fratello for more updates. For now, these are just hopes, predictions and wild guesses, but first let’s take a look at our wrists.
Wrist Check
Don’t be fooled by Daan’s wrist above. This week Lex is wearing a G-Shock GA-2100SKE-7AER. This episode was recorded just before Lex’s summer vacation, so he’s already enjoying the carefree feeling that a G-Shock brings. But will this be the watch he takes on vacation? We wouldn’t be surprised!
Thomas has stayed true to the brand and wears a VPC Type 37HW. As in the last episode, it’s the Dove Grey model on his wrist today. If you’d like to learn more about VPC, check out our many articles about watches, including Thomas’ series on building the brand. You can also check out the brand’s website.
Finally, Nacho wears his trusty Omega SMP 300M (ref. 2254.50.00), a trusty neo-vintage diver that’s been his go-to watch lately. There’s something so perfect about its slim 41mm case, scalloped dial, sword-shaped hands, and streamlined application of lume. For Nacho, this is the Seamaster that’s the pinnacle of them all.
