Hamilton American Classic Ballton

Normally I would like to avoid including limited edition models in my purchasing guide, but this Baume & Mercier Hampton is so good that I don’t emphasize. The Cartier Tank (all of its forms) is a typical rectangular watch, and is almost exclusively responsible for popularizing rectangular watches. I can’t talk about a rectangular clock without talking about the Jaeger-lecoultre ruverso, but I would like to highlight the Ruverso chronograph as one. It is worthy of characterising this list with complicated ones. My favourite watch. Based on the 1996 model, it offers the opportunity to have the charm of a crisp, two-handed, dressy watch and busy road chronograph. Complications aside, the Rebelso in every outfit is pure Art Deco, with its elegant reversible case and angular design simply oozing out cool. Lang & Heyne Georg
A slightly obscure rectangular watch, Lang & Heyne Georg is the signature model of this honorable independent German brand, symbolizing the classic Saxon watchmaking design. The clean, classic dial is fun to look at, but the really tasty part of George is its VIII movement with its stunning in-house caliber. When you create a watch to order, each georg can be slightly different, using the materials of the hands, dials and cases up to the customer (and the size of the wallet). Richard Mill RM 16-02 Automatic Extra Flat
Richard Mill is roughly synonymous with tonneau-shaped watches, but that’s not the only form factor that super-high-end watchmakers have their proverbed sleeves. RM 16-02 is the brand’s first rectangular clock design evolution from 2007, rectangular with numbers for all watches with bridges, main plateaus, rotors, crown ner rings, and even rectangular shapes It’s actually all in the theme. Interesting design approaches from all brands regarding complications, weight savings and exotic materials. However, the RM 16-02 will not be disappointed with these last two points.
